Hello, This is br Abraham Marie, my wife Sr Gemma Rita is going into an emergency surgery tomorrow morning, to prevent her from going into premature labor. This is our first baby, and she’s not yet viable outside of the womb, so this surgery is our last hope. We’d love to request the prayers of our fellow third order members for my wife, and for our baby whose name is Miriam Dolores Rose. I don’t know if there’s any way to pass this prayer request along to the rest of the third order, because we desperately need the prayers. Ave Maria! My wife and I will be taking a free course on the roles of men and women in the household beginning March 1st. The course is guided by Dr. John Cuddeback and his wife. Dr. Cuddeback is a (Catholic) professor of Philosophy at Christendom College. Friar Anthony mentioned the book, Franciscan Perfection, in one of his monthly conferences. I told him that book has been very helpful to me in getting a better grasp on Franciscan Spirituality.
