@Amber Constant I don't think it's a requirement to avoid lace veils. My opinion is that it's a little more humbling to wear something a little more plain. I think Friar Anthony mentioned it in one of the monthly conferences as a suggestion though.

I'm always missing my hours, I get so busy that by the time I look at the clock I've already missed the Little Office. I've started setting alarms on my phone though, so maybe that will help. I'm curious, where do you get veils that aren't lace? I have a box full of veils, but all of them are lace and I'm not sure where to find a solid veil that stays on my head. (With lace I can use a Bobby pin)

@Sr.Collette of the 7 Joys of Mary I've relized recently that having a 2 year-old, a 1 year-old and a 4 month old, keeps me so busy that I almost don't have time to play on my phone frivolously. There are still pockets of time when I catch myself waisting time scrolling through youtube, or looking up the . And, I'm ashamed to say, that I've come to rely on playing Cocomelon on my phone for my kids to watch so I can get things done, or to let the baby nap. 😩

Things are going great, I'm recovering very well, and we should be out of the hospital by tomorrow! Thank you so much for the Mass offerings! Our Lady has really been watching over us through this whole process!

UPDATE: Catherine Trinity Marie Elmore had a safe delivery and she is doing well. She was born at 8 pounds 12 ounces. However, please keep us in your prayers. We had some complications during the last half of the C-section, they had to replace about 2 and a half liters of blood, and I'm currently being monitored until tomorrow to make sure that I won't need a hysterectomy. May God's Holy Will be done!

Yes! We are having a girl, Catherine Trinity-Marie, due in 12 days, so we'll have a boy and 2 girls. My life with my children as a prayer is very comforting thought, I'll try and start putting that into practice! Maybe an Our Father or a 'Jesus, I love you' during meals or naps or chores. Thank you!

Been a struggle here. The dress is easy, but I can't fast right now (baby due soon), and remembering to say prayers and office has been a huge struggle with a 2 and 1 year old to entertain. I feel terrible at the end of the day for barely praying and it's a bit discouraging sometimes.
