Yes, so true, I try to share whenever possible all to God's glory, & how he worked through the Church, through a priest, so amazing... I couldn't help but convert after seeing that :) Wow! Of course they would say that, doesn't surprise me at all. I will continue to pray for you & your husband, long haul is a real thing for sure, & all they want to do is push the vaccine, smh. Awww that's unfortunate, but I definitely commend her for sticking to it & sharing what she knows as much as possible. My husband is much more vocal than I am, & several friends & family members have turned from him as a result, if they only knew... We really are in times where we have to ask questions when things seem "off" & to not just go along with everything we're told. Sounds like you are very blessed with a good wife. @Lindsey Elmore also trying searching 'hijab scarf' on ebay, they're actually the same as a scarf even though hijab implies Muslim headcovering. But there are several on there for cheap, & those types do actually stay on your head. I typically sew a small clip on my veils to keep them on, but I haven't had to do that for my scarfs... Just another suggestion, God Bless

Yes! I love scarfs as well, & there's so many different ways to wear them as well. If anyone is interested, I've gotten several off ebay for cheap, just search for hijab scarf (Muslim headcovering), there's tons on there. I don't know if this is the best site to learn Latin necessarily, & it's not exactly ecclesiastical Latin, but it can get you started... It teaches the basics, such as pronunciations, which is always helpful. The box on the left that reads Introduction, Chapter 1-10, ect. takes you to pronunciations for different things, & there's other books & flashcards & stuff you can get from there to help teach yourself. @Lindsey Elmore Oh I see... Yeah I've always kinda felt that way about the lace, although very pretty. And have felt like other types of headcoverings were more humbling as you mentioned. Love to looking to Our Lady as an example :) & they're so easy too... God Bless

I guess I missed the part where we aren't supposed to wear lace... When I first converted, I kinda went a little crazy with veils. I had gotten all different kinds of headcoverings, & really love the ones from Garlands of Grace in particular when wanting something different than the typical mantilla. Try googling them as well. They've got some pretty headcoverings that arent too flashy, & some more plain ones as well. Not sure what constitutes as a proper headcovering for us to wear exactly at this ...
