Update and Request for More Prayers

Merry Christmas, brothers and sisters of the Third Order!
We hope you are doing well and that your Christmas Season has been blessed thus far. Over the summer we requested prayers for a friend of ours, Rick Koch, who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer without any favorable treatment options. We wanted to share an update that he passed away this week in the early hours of December 27th. He was blessed with a very good and holy death, thanks be to God, surrounded by his family and having received all of the blessings and consolations that the Church could offer him in his final hours through our good parish priest. Thank you again so much for your charity in praying for him and his family - we have no doubt that all of your prayers were efficacious in securing such a blessed end for him. We ask that you please pray for the repose of his soul and for his family - he is survived by his wife, Lisa, and their 8 children. We will include a link to his obituary below if you would like to read it.
