A Note to Women a Week from Election Day

To all female Third Order Franciscan members!
In exactly one week, it will be Election Day. I feel compelled to say something on this forum because so many Catholic circles have been weak on this issue. I've read that around 51 percent of Catholics voted for Biden in 2020 (an appalling statistic) and that a significant number of "good" Catholics are considering not voting in 2024 because of Trump's position on abortion.
In reality, the choice in this election couldn't be more clear.
Archbishop Vigano said it perfectly in his "Open Letter to American Catholics":
"On one side we have candidate Donald J. Trump, who, despite serious problems in his positions – especially in the matter of abortion and assisted procreation – has as his objective the common good and the protection of the fundamental freedoms of citizens. In Donald Trump’s America, every Catholic can practice their Faith and educate their children in it without interference from the State.
On the other side we have a candidate and a party that promotes everything that directly opposes the Faith and Morals of the Catholic Church (emphasis my own). In Kamala Harris’ America, Catholics – but also Protestants – are considered fundamentalists to be marginalized and eliminated, and their children are considered the property of the State, which arrogates to itself the right to lead them astray from an early age in both body and soul. Trump’s America can become great and prosperous again. Harris’ America is destined for invasion and for moral, social, and economic destruction: the most ferocious dictatorship."
Indeed, if Harris wins, life in America will never be the same. It will become the nightmare my father escaped when he left Communist Poland in the 1970s.
My dear friends in Christ, the result of this election - in many ways - will be decided by the female vote. Most men, praise God, vote Republican.
I hope this forum note is unnecessary and that all female members have already voted or will cast their vote for Donald J. Trump on November 5th.
But if you're wavering, or thinking of abstaining, I encourage you to read or listen to the following messages that may convince you of the moral duty you have to your country and family next Tuesday.

With love of country in our hearts, let us save America from the hands of traitors who thirst to overthrow it.
Let us cast our ballots and also pray that our nation repents, that our nation turns to Christ, that our nation becomes worthy of being once called a "shining city upon a hill."
Let us do our part - the rest is in the hands of Almighty God.
