Nice to meet you, Sr. Clare! Like you, there is no Third Order here in my area of Central Florida. Although I believe there are some Third Order members close to me. I am married and the mother of 3 boys ages 29, 25, and 9. I came to tradition 9 years ago when my youngest was just a baby. It has been such a blessing. One day, I will tell you the story of how I came into the MFM Third Order. Maybe at retreat ;-) My community is the Louisiana where I made my profession. My heart is with them although I am far away. I try to keep in touch as often as possible. Complacency... I do know what you mean. There is a lot I still struggle with. Mental prayer and getting in all of my office prayers. My Guardian Angel reminds me often of Friar Anthony's encouragement to focus on our state in life. That's how we will be sanctified. That this is next. When I find myself being complacent, I switch up my spiritual reading books. This usually helps to awaken more devotion in my heart. Hope to meet you soon.
