Thank you for sharing your beautiful story! And congratulations to you and your wife. You are still newlyweds and it's such a beautiful time! I have a similar story about joining the MFM. When I applied, I needed my baptismal certificate from NY (I live in OH), where I am originally from. I had hoped to have my application completed and emailed by March 25, the Feast of the Annunciation. The secretary from the church I was baptized at told me Father had to sign for a new copy, but he was out of town. The certificate would be sent by snail mail all the way from NY. At this point it was about a week until the feast of the Annunciation and I thought there is no way I will be able to submit by then. I told Our Lady that if I receive my baptismal certificate here in time that I would take it as a sign from Our Lord that He truly desired me to join the MFM. Sure enough my baptismal certificate arrived just in time and I was able to complete the rest of my application in time enough to submit it on the Feast of the Annunciation!
We have family in Schuyler,NE, my husband's brother and his family. When we visited in June we attended Immaculate Conception for mass. It was lovely and large! My family attends a very small but sweet FSSP parish in Vienna OH. It's such a blessing to have them close enough to attend. Even though we travel 50 mins to get there, it's well worth it. Perhaps one day we will meet the Omaha MFM community. God bless!
