Signal Graces obtained through St. Joseph's intercession First, those who invoke him shall obtain from God, by his intercession, the gift of chastity, and shall not be conquered by the temptation of the senses; Secondly, they shall receive particular graces to deliver them from sin; Thirdly, they shall obtain a true devotion to the Blessed Virgin; Fourthly, they shall have a good and happy death, and in that all-decisive moment be defended against the assaults of Satan; Fifthly, they shall be delivered when expedient for them, from bodily sufferings, and shall find help in their afflictions; Sixthly, if married, they shall be blessed with offspring; Seventhly, the demons shall have extreme dread of the glorious name of St. Joseph. With so many graces to be obtained through his powerful intercession, let us not tarry nor hesitate in asking humbly for the protection and aid of dear St. Joseph, Terror of demons!

With that profound humility which the Faith itself inspires in me, O My God and Savior Jesus Christ, true God and true man, I love Thee with all my heart and I adore Thee Who art hidden here, in reparation for all the irreverence, profanations and sacrileges which Thou receives in the most adorable Sacrament of the Altar. I adore Thee, O My God, if not so much as Thou art worthy to be adored nor so much as I am bound to do, yet as much as I am able; would that I could adore Thee with that perfect worship which the Angels in Heaven are enabled to offer Thee. May Thou, O My Jesus, be known, adored, loved and thanked by all men at every moment in this most holy and divine Sacrament. Amen.

What God wants of you, is that you should live each day as it comes, like a bird in the trees, without worrying about tomorrow. Be at peace and trust in Divine Providence and the Blessed Virgin, and do not seek anything else but to please God and love Him. - Saint Louis de Montfort

by Cardinal Merry del Val He was accustomed to recite this prayer daily after offering the Holy Mass. O Jesus meek and humble of heart, Hear me. From the desire of being esteemed, Deliver, me, Jesus. From the desire of being loved, Deliver me, Jesus. From the desire of being extolled, Deliver me, Jesus. From the desire of being honored, Deliver me, Jesus. From the desire of being praised, Deliver me, Jesus. From the desire of being preferred to others, Deliver me Jesus. From the desire of being consulted, Deliver me, Jesus. From the desire of being approved, Deliver me, Jesus. From the fear of being humiliated, Deliver me, Jesus. From the fear of being despised, Deliver me, Jesus. From the fear of suffering rebukes, Deliver me, Jesus. From the fear of being calumniated, Deliver, me, Jesus. From the fear of being forgotten, Deliver me, Jesus. From the fear of being ridiculed, Deliver me, Jesus. From the fear of being wronged, Deliver me, Jesus. From the fear of being suspected, Deliver me, Jesus. That others may be loved more than I, Jesus, grant me the grace to desire it. That others may be esteemed more than I, Jesus grant me the grace to desire it. That in the opinion of the world, others may increase, and I may decrease, Jesus, grant me the grace to desire it. That others may be chosen and I set aside, Jesus grant me the grace to desire it. That others may be praised and I unnoticed, Jesus, grant me the grace to desire it. That others may be preferred to me in everything, Jesus, grant me the grace to desire it. That others may become holier than I, provided that I become as holy as I should, Jesus, grant me the grace to desire it. Amen 🌹

The Blessed Virgin Mary has promised to grant seven graces to the souls who honor her daily by praying seven Hail Mary's and meditating on her tears and sorrows. The devotion was passed on by St. Bridget. The seven promises: 1. I will grant peace to their families. 2. They will be enlightened about the divine mysteries. 3. I will console them in their pains and I will accompany them in their work. 4. I will give them as much as they ask for as long as it does not oppose the adorable will of my divine Son or the sanctification of their souls. 5. I will defend them in their spiritual battles with the infernal enemy and I will protect them at every instant of their lives. 6. I will visibly help them at the moment of their death, they will see the face of their Mother. 7. I have obtained from my divine Son, that those who propagate this devotion to my tears and dolors, will be taken directly from this earthly life to eternal happiness since all their sins will be forgiven and my Son and I will be their eternal consolation and joy.

MORNING CONSECRATION PRAYER TO MARY O Maria, transform my heart unto thine. Place around it a wreath of purity, adorned in virtue. Take my heart, dear Mother, consecrated as your own. Present it to God the Father as an offering from me to you. Help me O Maria in each day to make your heart more known. Amen.

Made in Rome by Pius IX in 1854 so that it could be used for the offering of the Holy Sacrifice on the day in which the dogma of the Immaculate Conception would be defined, it enchants the eye of the beholder with the splendor of almost 700 diamonds which adorn it. These precious stones, a detail that not everyone knows, were donated to Pope Mastai(Pope Pius IX), for his coronation (1846) by an Arab sultan and studded the trappings of a horse. In fact, until recently, it was customary to give animals of a certain value to the Supreme Pontiffs (see the elephant of Leo X or the lions of Saint Pius X ). At the death of the steed it was therefore decided to reuse those gems of immense value and therefore they were devoted to the greater glory of divine worship and to the honor of the Mother of God conceived without original sin, who deserves the praise of all creatures, faithful and unfaithful , for giving the world the Savior Jesus Christ.

I understand they were made by St Clare and that St. Francis didn't wear shoes until AFTER he received the stigmata. He always went barefoot.

Eternal Father, we humbly offer you our poor presence and that of the whole humanity from the beginning to the end of the world at all the Masses that ever have or ever will be prayed. We offer you all the pains, sufferings, prayers, sacrifices, joys and relaxations of our lives, in union with those of our dear Lord Jesus here on earth. May the Most Precious Blood of Christ, all His blood and wounds and agony save us, through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary. Amen.

St Peter of Alcantara Biography St Peter of Alcantara was the son of Peter Garavita, governor of Alcantara in Spain and his mother hailed from the noble family of Sanabia. Peter went to Salamanca University to study civil and canon law. In 1515, he joined the Franciscan congregation and became a Franciscan Friar of the Stricter Observance at the Friary at Manxaretes, Extramadura in Spain. At the young age of 22, he founded the friary at Babajoz which followed the Stricter Observance of the Rules of St Francis Xavier and served as its superior. At age 25, in 1524, he was ordained as a priest and thereafter became the Guardian of the St Mary of the Angels’ friary at Robredillo, Spain. St Peter of Alcantara became known for his eloquent and inspirational preaching. He was more attracted to preaching to the poor where he drew his sermons from the Prophetic and Poetic Books of the Holy Bible. Peter later entered the Order of the reform of the Discalced Friars and was made Franciscan provincial minister of the province of St Gabriel of Estremadura in 1538. He tried to enforce strict observance of rules among the friars but his plans were vehemently opposed until he resigned from that position. He retired to the mountains of Arrábida in Portugal, where he stayed and lived a new life of solitude and prayers. When he returned to Spain, he continued to live in solitude and prayers for two years, from 1553 to early 1555. After spending two years in solitude, St Peter of Alcantara went barefoot on a pilgrimage all the way to Rome. In Rome, he obtained permission from Pope Julius III to establish friaries. On his way back home, he established several friaries and enforced a very strict constitution similar to that which he had hoped to enforce in St Gabriel Province. The reforms spread very fast into other provinces of Spain and Portugal. St Peter of Alcantara was very instrumental in encouraging St Teresa of Avila to found her monasteries in Avila and enforce strict observance of rules. Peter also wrote a Treatise on Prayer and Meditation, which became very useful to Teresa, and St Francis de Sales. St Peter of Alcantara lived a very pious and austere life and ate food a few times per week. He also slept a few minutes each day and would stay awake most of the night. This is how he became the patron saint of night watchmen. He was very prayerful and it is said that he would levitate while deep in prayer. On his deathbed, he delined a cup of water saying, “Even my Lord Jesus Christ thirsted on the Cross.” He died in prayer and meditation on October 18 1562 in the monastery at Arenas de San Pedro, Ávila, Spain.

"Whoever lives in the presence of so good a friend and excellent a leader as is Jesus Christ can endure all things. Christ helps us and strengthens us and never fails; he is a true friend. And I see clearly that God desires that if we are going to please him and receive his great favors this must come about through the most sacred humanity of Christ, in whom he takes his delight." - From the Autobiography of St Teresa of Avila
