Dumb Phone and Light Phone

Ave Maria! Brothers and Sisters,

I was (finally) able to switch over to a dumb phone, Deo gratias! I switched to the Light Phone II (thelightphone.com), which is a new dumb phone that comes with a few extra features (directions, voice-to-text, etc.) I was able to find one used, as it's a bit more expensive than your typical flip phone (you can get a new flip phone for about $100, while the Light Phone II is $300 new). I thought I would let others know about the Light Phone, as it allows us to fulfill the obligation while still keeping a few things that our work may need us to keep.

If you do not have any money for a dumb phone or can't buy one for some reason, please let me know, as I have an extra flip phone laying around. I can't remember the brand off the top of my head, but I know it works with Verizon. I can send it to you if you do need it.

God bless you,

I have really enjoyed the Light Phone. I run my own business and use it as a hot spot to check my emails a few times a day on my laptop. The whole notion that you have to have constant access to communication if you're in business is false. Not being constantly connected has had no negative impact on my business and has improved my life. Br. Columba of the Immaculate Heart
